The Finger Lakes Region is well known for outstanding quality of living and beautiful scenery.
Cornell has a track record of using its technology assets for local and regional job creation, especially through inventions and technology transfer. Cornell has initiated an effort to foster even more local, regional and state-wide economic development. In addition to assisting the process of technology-led economic development, the EDA University Center will provide a clearinghouse of all the economic development initiatives and activities.
EDA University Center partners with other Cornell groups involved in the economic development activities within the university to impact communities across the state, as well as, highlight national and global implications of Cornell's research, technology and outreach.
